At Sumo + Sushi, we travel with World Champion Sumo wrestlers from Japan. During each show they share their expertise, history, and culture while guests are served a multi-course dinner experience ring side! From Miso Soup to Bento Boxes and even a Mochi dessert! Each show over 800 guests get to witness electrifying live exhibition matches, indulge in delicious sushi, and a select few even get the chance to enter the ring for a real match with one of the sumo legends.

Shift Sign-Ups + Ticketing:
Please acknowledge that all complimentary Sumo + Sushi tickets are directly tied to the volunteer shift selected during sign-up. By registering as a volunteer, you understand that your complimentary ticket is valid only for the showtime associated with your selected shift and cannot be transferred or exchanged for a different showtime.
All complimentary volunteer tickets will be distributed according to the Ticketing and Showtimes section below, and we cannot guarantee admission to a showtime that does not correspond with your selected volunteer shift.
Ticketing + Showtimes:
Thursday, October 15th: (Culinary Team and FOH Set-Up Support): Volunteers will attend the 1:30pm Show time on Sunday the 18th.
Friday, October 16th: (Culinary Team, Gates or FOH Set-Up Support): Volunteers will attend the 8:30pm (doors at 7:45pm) showtime on Friday the 15th.
Saturday, October 17th: (Culinary Team or FOH Set-Up Support): Volunteers will attend the 5:00pm showtime (doors at 4:00pm) on Saturday the 17th.
Saturday, October 17th: (Gates Roles): Volunteers will attend the 8:30pm showtime (doors at 7:45pm) on Saturday the 17th.
Sunday, October 18th: Volunteers in any role will attend the1:30pm showtime after completing their shift (doors at 12:30pm) on Sunday the 18th.
Volunteer Requirements:
All Volunteers must be 21+
You must complete your Full Volunteer Shift to receive your Free Ticket
Volunteers must properly check in and out of your shift
If you arrive too late (over 30 minutes) to your Volunteer shift you risk your Free Ticket
Volunteers are NOT allowed to drink alcoholic beverages during their shift
Volunteers are NOT to enjoy any food items for guests in their stations
Volunteers are to stay with their assigned lead unless reassigned to another lead.
What to wear:
Volunteer t-shirt! Which will be provided upon arrival.
Closed toe shoes required while working - ensure they are comfortable! You will be on hard floors for a majority of your shift.
If your in a Gates where you are Guest Facing we prefer Black work slacks or dark denim
If you are in a Gates Role you will also want to bring a jacket as you will be outdoors during ticketing. We prefer jackets to be all black with little to no branding.
If you like to keep your belongings with you I highly recommend a Fanny Pack!
SE Productions will NOT have a secure area to store Volunteer belongings or jackets during their shift
A Pre-Event Email will be sent to all Confirmed Volunteers a little closer to the event to provide you with Parking + Onsite Check In Instructions!
Please carefully review the Volunteer Shift + Ticket Showtimes listed below before selecting your shift to ensure that both the volunteer shift and its corresponding showtime work with your schedule.
